I the owner and founder of Natures Armour , LLC would like you to know the reasoning for the development of Purity all natural deodorant.
WHY I created purity all natural deodorant. I began making this homemade natural deodorant 8 years ago. My mother passed away of breast cancer at the young age of 40. I have met so many people who have breast cancer and or have lost a loved one from cancer. I began asking myself the question why so many women here in the US have breast cancer. Research has shown the incidence of breast cancer is higher here in the US than in Central and Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa and other countries ( http://ww5.komen.org/BreastCancer/Statistics.html ) and began to think WHY is this the case. What is it here we do on a daily basis that may impact these statistics. This is my theory to all of this: Many of us shower, shave, and then apply typical deodorant. Now once we have showered, heat opens our pours and allows more substances to enter our system. So our skin is now at its most susceptible saturation to allow chemicals to enter. Here in the US we often then apply typical store bought deodorant which commonly contains aluminum and parabens (also aluminum stains the clothes yellow), which now has easy access to enter our lymphatic system. A great deal of lymph nodes are located right under our armpits which is right next to our breasts, therefore allowing the chemicals to enter into this area, which I believe may be playing a role in this large incidence of breast cancer in the US. Aluminum and parabens have been linked to cancer according to research studies ( http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/14639125 ) Aluminum essentially plugs up your pours and does not allow your body to sweat , as it should.
